On 14 April, the Macedonian Customs Administration celebrated the 16th anniversary of its establishment. On this occasion, the MCA organised a conference on the topic "Simplified Customs Procedures", where the views of different customs experts regarding this important reform  were presented. In the ceremonial part of the conference, the MCA presented several acknowledgements to its partners that have assisted the customs in the reform process. The project co-ordinator of the bilateral twinning project between the Netherlands and Macedonian Customs Administration, Mr. Pim Berkhuizen, was awarded with a customs plate as an acknowledgment for his work and devotion to the implementation of crucial reform processes in the work of the MCA. The twinning project is funded by the Netherlands Embassy for the period 2005-2009.
