On the 14th of February, the Netherlands Ambassador, H.E Simone Filippini, visited the Toranica mine operated by Indo Minerals and Metals DOOEL as part of the Binani Group ( www.binaniindustries.com). The company's General Manager, Mr Abhoy Prasad Mukherjee, presented the current and planned activities around the expansion of capacity of the mine and informed on the potential for cooperation with Dutch companies in the areas of enviornemental protection. The Dutch Agency for Economic Cooperation, EVD, ( www.evd.nl) has already been contacted for assistance in obtaining information on relevant Dutch companies. The Binani Group already has economic activities within the Netherlands through its "Makrov Mining and Exploration" subsidary.
