On 9 June Dutch Ambassador Simone Filippini planted the first bulbs in Vinica City Park, together with the Mayor and a group of high school students. Also present was Mr. Pieter Imanse, a Dutch national who has been living in Vinica for the last 8 years and the main contact in securing the donation from the Dutch company De Ree ( www.deree-holland.nl).

In the beginning of the autumn, in October, the main bulk of the bulbs will be planted, having to result in 'little Keukenhof'.  Keukenhof is the world famous spring flowering bulbs exhibition in the Netherlands which, featuring 7 million flower bulbs and attracting over 750.000 visitors on a yearly basis!
