Dutch Trade Mission to Macedonia 20-23 May
The Dutch horticultural sector is a global player in the cultivation of ornamental plants, bulbs, trees and shrubs, food horticulture and the related supply industry. The industry employs over 460,000 people and has a staggering export value of 14 billion euros. Already representatives from this industry such as the Dutch company SBW ( www.stbw.nl), a tissue culture producer, have been successfully operating in Macedonia for a number of years.
During the visit to the Netherlands in March ( donwload newspaper article) that was organized by the Embassy with the support of SBW, Dutch SMEs from the flori/horticulture industry were informed on the possibilities of investing in Macedonia. The result has been that a trade mission of several companies will visit Macedonia from the 20th until the 23rd of May to explore concrete opportunities for doing business and investing in the country.
Macedonian companies and institutions will have the opportunity to meet the companies from the trade mission during the Business Networking Event that will be organized on the 21st of May for the purpose of exploring possibilities for cooperation. For more information relating to the trade mission please contact the Embassy at sko@minbuza.nl
