The walking and cycling tour around the Mavrovo Lake - "Mavrovo Tour 2009" organised by the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuse, National Park Mavrovo, Macedonian Bicycle Federation and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands attracted hundreds of people to spend a fantastic out in the nature and enjoy the untouched beauties of the Mavrovo region. One day before, the organisers were busy with the clean-up action in which they collected two trucks of garbage from the picnic places around the lake.
