The Netherlands is gradually phasing out its involvement in the agricultural sector in Macedonia. No new activities in agriculture will be initiated, unless clear linkages can be established with the policy on private sector development. The Netherlands will, however, continue its support for physical rehabilitation and institutional reform of the irrigation sector in Macedonia.
